Purple Guava

Purple Guava is about the size of navel orange. Guava fruit has seed and has high nutritional value compared to normal guava.  Taste wise, the fruit is not as sweet as seedless guava but is good for juicing. As with normal guava, Purple Guava will fruit all year round.

Originated from Brazil, Jaboticaba taste like sweet grapes, slightly sour nearing its seed. The fruits are traditionally used as a treatment for asthma, diarrhea, tonsillitis, helps with arthritis and hair loss. 

Trees are tall and ornamental to look at,good for landscaping.

Height: 1 - 1.5 meter

If pruned, Jaboticaba can be grown in big pots.
